Belleville, State College, and Huntingdon, offer guests of McBurney Manor a unique visit to central Pennsylvania’s modern 19th century. Built in 1844 this bed and breakfast still retains it’s over 160-year-old charm and ambience as it is nestled between these nearby communities of bustling college campuses, and lively agrarian fields. In making a few modern improvements for guests’ comfort, the character of the house has not been compromised. The rooms are uniquely decorated to accent the antique tastes of the house.A room with a queen-size bed has a lovely fireplace, while twin beds occupy the room across the hall. A newly installed modern bathroom is shared by the guests.
The grounds contain a fascinating “bake house” which has a recently restored bake oven from which wonderful aromas of a variety of freshly baked breads permeate the property baked by Kevin Cook's McAlevy Bakery each Tuesday and Friday morning.
